Title: Senior Trader

Our client, a leading investment bank with a strong focus on emerging European markets, is building a London-based team and is looking to hire a Senior Trader.

The successful candidate is likely to have had at least 5 years of experience in trading fixed income, equity or other instruments; he/she will have a strong understanding of trading strategies; strong analytical skills; a degree in mathematics, computer sciences, finance or a related field; fluency in Russian and/or other Eastern European languages will be an advantage although is not a pre-requisite.

2. Kyiv-based:

Title: Investment Manager/Associate

Our client is a new private equity fund established to make investments in Poland, Ukraine and Romania. The fund's founders are highly successful private equity professionals with a strong track record of investing in the CEE region as part of major private equity businesses.

The fund is opening an office in Kyiv and will invest a total of $300 million in small to medium size deals in the target geographies.

The management team is currently looking to fill two positions to be based in Kyiv: - Investment Manager (up to 5 years of relevant experience) - Associate (2-3 years of relevant experience)

5. Switzerland based:

Title: Traffic Operator, refined metals Reporting line: Head of Traffic Department

Main tasks:

- Direct contacts to customers

- Written and verbal contacts with suppliers and receivers

- Co-ordinating the shipments with our customers

- Letter of credit negotiation according to contract terms

- Arranging for inspection, sampling, assaying and umpires of the various products

- Declaring quotation periods (hedge)

- Preparing for all necessary documentation (holding certificates, releases, transport documents, invoices etc.)

- Checking and arranging payments, claims

i. Bank contacts

- Opening/checking Letter of Credit

- Arranging for documents and collection of payments Shipping

- Arranging for the various international transport by sea-,rail-, barge and truck

- Insuring the cargo/transports - Checking and calculating demurrage/despatch

- Being in regular contact with brokers, shipping agents, stevedores

ii. Internal work

- Checking and up-dating various shipping positions, exposure cards etc.

- Working closely with traders and our various departments of finance, accounting, hedging and liquidation

- Minimum Experience Education required: 3 years apprenticeship or commercial degree Russian-speaking essential
